This week we did chapter 14 for The boy in the striped pyjamas this book is very interesting because it lures you in with the story line this is a good book i recommend this book it is good

This week for our topic we started reading the boy in the striped pyjamas after we read a chapter then we had to answer questions about what happened in that chapter. our class also got split in two one are Jewish one are German because we are learning how it felt to be a German child or Jewish

This week for Literacy we have been doing a Comprehension activity on finding literacy elements. 
I think that this activity was kind of easy because we had a video about Peter Rabbit to watch.  I also had the book Dragon knight in my box.

This week we were doing an activity where we had to read paragraphs then we had to answer the questions.  

Numeracy

WALT: work out three,fours,fives and six times with two time problems. 

This week for numeracy we had to do maths problems some of them were kind of hard but half were easy here is a screen shot.

We also had a khan academy slide that we had to do then we had a money activity that we had to do.

This week for maths we got this website called  khan academy it is a web site for math it gives you videos that you need to watch  if you don't you will probley get the answer wrong

Reflection week 6

Reading
For reading  this week our walt is to summaries what we read this week we had to read an article then we had to write what we fort about it.

Writing 

Our Walt for writing is to write an article that we made up. I chose megalodon because it is the biggest shark ever and the article look's really good.

Numeracy

Our Walt for numeracy is reversibility that is when you have a subtraction problem and you change it into  plus problem.

Shantytown

This week we went to room ten because the shantytown people came and showed us about how the old people trade things (back in the old days) to get other things they needed.

Numeracy
This week for numeracy we had a sheet that was could task 2 but there was task 1 that was kind of hard on the side of task 1 there was extra for experts that bit there was really hard but I got help from my friend .

  











Literacy 
For reading our WALT was to summarize what we read. This week we had to do a quiz about Cinderella it was kind of hard because I haven't herd of the Cinderella story so I only got 43 percent when we finished we had to do another activity.  

Writing 

This week we had to write article  about Charlotte's web  then we had to copy and paste it on to barn yard times then we had to put it on our blog.

For literacy we are using sentience starters like metaphors. We had to write 12 sentience with the same starting as the author











Numeracy 
This week in numeracy we were learning to round to the nearest 10 and compensate. I found it kind of tricky because some of the answers were difficult and some were kind of easy but I did it in the end

For writing we had to write an article about Charlotte's web we had starer's like who,what,when,why

reflection term 2 week 3

This is my reading activity we had to read 30 books in the whole year when we finished we get a treat.

   

 

Here is a photo of banqer when we started we only had 50 dollars we had a button called savings that's where you put your money that you want to save that you don't want to get rid of you have to pay to sit on the couch. 

for numeracy we had to write a scrip about what we had to say for our web paint we had a goggle drawing using web paint.
